Welcome to the Wharf

A modern, spacious and family-friendly pub in Dartford’s Crossways area, The Wharf promises superb food, drink and service in a relaxing location at the water’s edge.

Wonderful views over Cotton Lake make this the perfect place to unwind - and while the pub is only two minutes from Dartford Crossing, it feels a world away from the stress of life on the road.

A large garden stretches around the side of the pub, with a picturesque area of waterside decking one of the prime spots to grab. You can enjoy a great range of specially-selected wines, or Kentish cask ales served at their very best.

It’s perhaps food that The Wharf is best known for though. Diners head here from both sides of the Thames to enjoy our famous Sunday carvery, as well as a host of other delicious dishes served throughout the week.

You can even dine outside at the waterside - and enjoy the full effect of one of the best-located pubs in Dartford.

What our customers say

Fine view and good food - A view of the adjacent lake sets the scene for a good dining experience. Friendly staff and good food added to the enjoyment of the evening. The restaurant itself is not too ornate, but is more than adequate for the task. Our first experience at the venue was perhaps not as enjoyable as the second, All in all I would commend this venue to anyone wanting a good ding experience with not too much fuss and bother.

On the way back from work - Stopped of for a pint after work! I have to say what a great pint it was. As a lover of real ale, that pint was the most richest in taste! Well done. The tall gentleman served me, he I must say was a perfect barman! He was welcoming and engaging, we spoke for a while about the ales and he told me of one to try, and gave me a taste. Not to my liking but I'm a spitfire man through and through. Bravo

Lovely unexpected spot - Great view over the lake, lovely big pub, not busy early on a Saturday night which was great, the food was lovely, amazing creme brulee and we ate burgers and lovely pork belly. Very welcoming barman (less cheery waitress sadly) but it didn't spoil our experience too much :). Food reasonably priced although the drinks weren't so cheap.
